Summit Sustainers

A small group of donors has made a special contribution to Independence Pass. In 2003, IPF's Board of Trustees formed a new group of supporters called "Summit Sustainers" composed of individuals, businesses, and foundations who commit to making a gift that totals $12,095 over a one- to five-year period. Donors may choose to pay the full amount of the gift in a single year, or they may take up to five years ($2,419 per year) to fulfill their pledges by making annual payments.

What is the significance of 12,095? The summit of Independence Pass is 12,095 feet, and IPF's work on the Top Cut lies just below the summit. We deeply appreciate the sustained commitment that our initial group of eight Summit Sustainers have made. If you are interested in becoming a Summit Sustainer, contact Judith Olesen, IPF Development Director, 970-963-3158 or email her, jolesen@earthlink.net.
