  • Also, because the bird & wildflower walks fill up fast, with a maximum number of 12 participants, PLEASE give us at least 24 hours notice if you are not able to attend so we can invite folks on the wait list.

We will be carrying heavy metal panels and pieces from the old snow fence off the Continental Divide, 1.5 miles south of the summit. While this is a strenuous project, everyone will carry only what they are able.

** This outing will require high alpine, off-trail, occasionally rigorous hiking in search of a local population of Brewer’s sparrows. Please consider this when signing up.
