Karin Teague, Executive Director

Karin took the helm of IPF in April 2015, after 20 years of extraordinary service and accomplishment by Executive Director Mark Fuller and Development Director Judy Olesen. Karin brings with her a 30-year love affair with the wild landscape of the Roaring Fork Valley.  She proudly served on the Board of Wilderness Workshop for over two decades, including two stints as Board President. She previously worked as the Development Coordinator for Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, served on the Basalt Town Council, and was the Co-Founder and Legal Director of Public Counsel of the Rockies. She is a published nature writer and photographer, including the weekly Aspen Times/Daily News wildflower column, “In Bloom,” and the Field Guide to the Wildflowers of Independence Pass. Karin is passionate about the mountains of Colorado and the living things that call them home.
