Registration for 2024 Ski For The Pass will open in mid-January, and will stay open until Friday, February 2, at 3pm

Ski: 10am - Sunday, February 4, 2024
$15/individuals, $7.50/under 18 years old

Ski For the Pass is a 7K classic race/tour from the winter closure gate east of Aspen on Highway 82 to the turnoff for Lincoln Creek Rd. It is the only day of the year that this closed section of Highway 82 is groomed for classic cross country skiing. The race is part of Aspen Cup Nordic Series. The Ski is a benefit for Independence Pass Foundation.

A warming area at the finish and gear shuttle will be provided for participants, along with an aid station at Weller. The race will be timed, but many people participate non-competitively.

For more information and to register (in mid-January) visit https://www.utemountaineer.com/eventscalendar/ski-for-the-pass-aspen-cup-nordic-series .

Unfortunately, bikes are not permitted for this tour. Per the Travel Management Plan currently in place, fat bikes (because they have “wheels”) are technically NOT allowed on Indy Pass during winter.
